The truth is, I am not

I am learning to be vulnerable again…

They told you that I am patient

I am not, but I remember He (God) first waited for me

So I wait, anyway…

They told you that I am fun to be with…

Maybe I laugh often because there is no more tear to cry…

They told you that I am courageous

I am not, countless times I have wanted to run away

I didn’t want His perfect will…

They told you that I am loving

I am not, but I learned that Love lives in me…

They told you that I am understanding

I am not, I battle everyday with the question,

Why…

So,

No matter what good or bad they told you about me

All I know is

I am chosen

I am loved deeply

And God has kept me this far for His glory!

I am simply graced!

Hi! Below is the poetic prayer that was made during this summit. Stay blessed as you read.

Dear Lord,We know you remember

How we made goals for 2015, prayed and believed.

You remember how it was

And we thank you for every moment we had.

Today,

The first Sabbath of this new year

We have gathered together as creatives

And yes, we have plans

But we ask that you be our master planner

We have goals

But we ask that only your perfect will will prevail.

Continue to enlarge our creativity for your glory

And as we purge up one another

Stay close

As we go through this new year

Stay close

Closer than a wall is to a paint

Stay close

Closer than an atom is to a nucleus

Stay close

Closer than the oneness that the two become

Stay close

HER STORY...

Hi! I hope you were blessed by the first part of story of my life. After serious introspection and prayer, I decided to summarize what I’ve been through in the poem below. Be inspired and encouraged. You too, will pull through by God’s grace, anyway…

I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS!

I know what it means to be without a dad

I know what it means to celebrate Christmas and receive no gift

I know what it means to be rejected by your loved ones

I know what it means to be heartbroken

I know what it means to feel used

I know what it means to be taken advantage of

I know what it means to be critically ill and have no one to take care of you

I know what it means to see your mother cry and do nothing about it

Because, you can’t

I know what it means to be in a crowd and feel lonely

I know what it means to smile with tears in your eyes

I know what it means to be homeless

Yes, I know what it means.

And guess what?

I also know what it means to be loved genuinely

Not just by words, but in action

Not just on Valentine’s Day, but everyday

Not just by promise, but also manifestation

Not just through a gift, but more so, the package

Because,

I am loved deeply

By my father

God Almighty!

This is a special dedication to all men who believe that God has, and is still nurturing proverbs 31 women who will always bring joy and gladness to their hearts. Be encouraged and inspired.

Like the joy of a woman from delivery, when she first sees her newborn baby.
My heart is always filled with joy and gladness at the thought of you.
My sweetie…my honey…my sugar…

Well,
That's rather common,
Allow me to call you,
My courageous man!
And I want you to know
That wherever you are,
I pray for you.

Sometimes my heart turns away
At the imagination of the high expectations you have towards me.
Honestly,
I am working hard to bring out the Esther in me, the Ruth, the Sarah.
Precisely,
I want to be your 31 status
My courageous man!
And I want you to know
That wherever you are,
I pray for you.

When you call me your angel,
May you be reminded that I am not that pure,
That I was once a lost child
Who loved the worldly pleasures.
That I was like Rehab
And I hope you will be my Hosea.
That my sins were as red as scarlet
But Christ cleansed me, now I am as white as snow.
Therefore,
My courageous man,
I want you to know
That wherever you are,
I pray for you.

Love, acceptance, understanding among many other qualities are what I desire from you.
Wo! Wo! Wo! Hold it there,
You think I am asking for too much?
Well…mmh!
But even if you think it's too much to ask.
I believe God is working in your life
To bring out the Abraham, the Isaac, the Jacob in you.
Oh Yes! The David, a man after God's own heart.
Fear not,
My courageous man,
Always remember
That wherever you are,
I pray for you.

When people don't seem to accept you.
When they don't seem to recognize your effort.
When they take you for granted.
Honey! Sorry, I meant,
My courageous man
Please don't lose heart.
Keep fighting like Joshua
Keep believing like Daniel
Keep praising like David
Keep forgiving like Joseph
And loving, like Jesus.
Knowing that, wherever you are,
I pray for you.

I pray that you will make me your church,
And fill me with unfailing love.
That you will selflessly provide, protect and care for me.
I, bone of your bone,
And flesh, of your flesh.
And even when you might not meet up to all these...

I Speak of Love

This is a spokenword poem,i would love to thank first and foremost,God Almighty who favoured me all through the entire shooting period,the cast and crew for the dedication and hardwork they showed during the shoot,my family and friends who stood with me in prayers and my mentors who supported me generously and of course my fans who inspire me to give my best.

I can't seem to make a decision right now.

All I want,is to cry

Cry over my life 

Cry over my family 

Cry over my nation

Cry over my career,my giftings.

Basically,I want to cry over everything.

When friends reject me,

Walk with me like Jesus did,the disciples

Open my eyes to see beyond the things of this world,Lord!

For I know that what is seen is temporary,

But what is unseen is eternal.

May I bring joy to my parents

May obedience to them be my life,

My life practice.

May my siblings find in me a loving friend  

May my husbands' bones grow very strong like a lions'

But a woman who will bring them up in the ways of the Lord.

People,who want to relate to someone who knows someone

So that they can feel like,Fyuks! Atleast I know someone.

Teach me to show them love.

When they see my lifestyle,may they see you Jesus

But not in relating to me! 

Or working with me!

Or knowing someone who knows someone who knows me.

Through economics and statistics 

May I be economical enough to know how to contribute to the balancing of my daily budget.

Such that in my budget,the amount of giving and tithing will not be under-estimate.

Like Jesus! 

Give me the right words to balance my figures,

So that no one will be found lacking around me.

Use my career,not only to contribute to the economy of this nation,

But more so,to the heavenly economy.

Hold my hand,

Walk with me.

Walk with me through my gifts and talents.

In a world where many have been misused

May I use them for your Glory.

In a world,where many have been killed,

May I nature them according to your will.

In a world where they are being taken for granted.

Teach me to encourage and appreciate them.

For if you are for us Lord,

No one can be against us.

Therefore, please...

Where youths are conforming to it's patterns

Where husbands and wives are killing each other.

Where marriage is used for personal gains,

Like,if I give you this,will you do me that? 

Where relationships are like flights

You like,agree to the terms,give so as to receive.

Enjoy the flight and suddenly...

Passangers,fasten your seat belts,

we are almost landing.

And away you walk,letting it go,

Like nothing happened

In a world,

Where children never experience parental love.

To hold my hand and walk with me?

Through the fire and waters
